Single Origin Equador is made with equitably-traded, shade-grown cacao beans of the Arriba Nacional variety from the Esmeraldas region of Ecuador. This variety constitutes less than 5% of the world's cacao production. Raw cacao is one of the healthiest foods on the planet - full of vitamins, minerals, anti-oxidants, and living enzymes. Our chocolate is sweetened with coconut palm sugar, one of the lowest glycemic sweeteners.
